Ozark Overland Adventure Trail (O.O.A.T.)

The Ozark Overland Adventure Trail is a 5 day overlanding route through the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas. It has a good mix of scenic and technical trails with camping spots and points of interest highlighted along the route. They will bring you on an epic overlanding adventure that is sure to please. Spend time touring historic cabins and schoolhouses, find your way across beautiful rivers and bring home some of our beautiful red arkansas clay for the carwash. Chadwick, MO. – Motorcycle and ATV Use Area

Nearly 80 miles of multi-use trails for ATV, UTV, motorcycle and mountain bikes wind in and out of deep, forested hollows and down long ridge tops. It’s possible to plan a wide variety of full-loop riding without backtracking. The riding area has evolved to a point where portions of all trails have a “most difficult” rating. Therefore, all riders will encounter advanced riding challenges. There are two Day Use Areas associated with the riding area. One is Camp Ridge located on the northeast edge of the riding area just off of H Highway – No overnight camping is allowed here. A vault toilet and information board is present. The other area is the KC Pavilion. This area provides a picnic pavilion, a vault toilet, and an information board. The KC Pavilion is located along Trail 101 just as it leaves Trail 171. Southern Missouri Off-Road Ranch (S.M.O.R.R)

Located just 45 miles south of Springfield, MO you will find a diamond in the rough. Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch brings you 940 acres of the most scenic and well mapped trails in the midwest. Bring your built rock bouncer, or your stock weekend camp rig and you will find a trail that is perfect for you. Grab a bite to eat at the Ranch Cafe, Stay in brand new cabins, or grab any of the powered campsites. If you like to get away from the crowds, there is some beautiful primitive camping as well. Come on down and spend the weekend, you won’t regret it!

Oklahoma Adventure Trail (O.A.T)

The Oklahoma Adventure Tour/Trail completes a 1300 mile loop around the entire state of Oklahoma. Known for its long, boggy roads of endless mud, make sure you keep track of the weather, as this route’s much more treacherous in the wet. The original developer can be found here. Most of the route is mapped using Garmin Basecamp, a free download available here. You may also want to download the free oklahoma topo maps available here. CAUTION: Some areas of the trail are remote and rough. If you download this route you are doing so at your own risk and no contributor is liable for your poor judgement or accident. Please research all areas you plan on going before you attempt it. This is especially concerning the K-Trail section in SE Oklahoma and the multiple water crossings scattered on the trail. Please ride within your abilities.

#SMORR2MOORE ADVENTURE ROUTE

We have gathered some of the best regional expertise from local wayfarers who have been traveling these roads for many years. MOORE Expo has teamed up with the communication experts at Midland Radio to bring you a scenic route between SMORR and MOORE that you are sure to enjoy!

The SMORR2MOORE Adv route is a 100 mile route one way through many parts of the Mark Twain National Forest. The ride lasts approximately 4 hours.

Don’t have all the off-road gear? Don’t fear, this route is for everyone! This event is a run at your own pace utilizing paper maps and local landmarks.  (route contains gravel roads, some mud puddles, water crossing and adventure)

THE EASTERN KANSAS FLINT HILLS OVERLAND ROUTE

The Flint Hills, historically known as Bluestem Pastures or Blue Stem Hills, are a region in eastern Kansas and north-central Oklahoma named for the abundant residual flint eroded from the bedrock that lies near or at the surface.This 200 mile long off-road route begins in the town of Alma, KS and ends in Cedar Vale, KS near the Oklahoma border. Find yourself on high on the hills and low in the meadows on this beautiful tour through the sunflower state. After completing the route, head east to West Mineral, KS and catch Big Brutus open 7 days a week on your way to the #MOORE Expo.
